Router decision (read-only, no model call)

The preview never calls a model. model_configured is true only when a router model is set (LAILA_ROUTER_FAST_MODEL / DEEP_MODEL); router_enabled reflects LAILA_SMART_ROUTER_ENABLED. With both off, the tier is advisory and chat uses the configured cloud model directly.

Memory & backups

Persistent memory lives on the VPS. Encrypted snapshots are taken hourly by a systemd timer and verified after each run; nothing is stored on this device.
